How do individuals, churches, charitable trusts or companies give for my support?

Individuals can set up regular giving or one-off giving online using your giving link which is 'www.stewardship.org.uk/partners' followed by your 8-digit account number beginning 20, eg www.stewardship.org.uk/partners/20000000.

Regular giving is by Direct Debit. One-off giving can be by card, except for American Express, or Direct Debit. Supporters can also give offline by cheque using your Support Form. 

Supporters outside the UK can only arrange one-off gifts by card. They can only give with Gift Aid if they pay the appropriate UK tax. Regrettably, regular giving cannot be set up from outside the UK as the required identity checks cannot be completed.

If you opted for your giving link to be disabled in the application form or in your online account, givers can instead set up their support offline by completing your Support Form and returning it to us by email or post. Churches, charities or charitable trusts cannot set up support using your giving link as they first need to open a Giving Account for Churches and Charities if they don't already have one. Once opened, they can then set up giving for your support in their Giving Account online by Direct Debit or card using your 8-digit account number. Due to employment law, a church or charity you work for, volunteer for, or are on a placement with, is regrettably not permitted to give to Stewardship to fund your support.

Companies cannot set up support using your giving link as they first need to open a Giving Account for Companies if they don't already have one. Once opened, they can then set up giving for your support in their Giving Account online by Direct Debit or card using your 8-digit account number. Please note that the close relative giving rules apply to giving from a close relative’s company using a Giving Account for Companies.
