How Stewardship finally helped us to register as a charity
Lucy Butt is the Co-Founder of Bramber Bakehouse, an artisan bakery which supports human trafficking survivors.
She shares how the bakehouse turned to Stewardship when their initial application with the Charity Commission was rejected.

In hindsight, I would have approached Stewardship a lot sooner. They freed us up to focus on what really mattered.

It's a genuine joy to know when the Lord calls us home, people will be able to work with Stewardship to bless others.
Carl and Jenny, Donors
We have particularly valued the support and help that we have been given during the registration of our Church as a CIO. It was well worth spending the money and letting Stewardship take care of everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
There is no guarantee that the Charity Commission will approve an application but, based on the extensive experience of our partner solicitors, we will let you know immediately if there is any doubt about your application meeting with approval. We will discuss the issues with you and will work with you to make any changes that may be needed before submission to the Charity Commission.
Typically it takes between five and seven months. It can sometimes be quicker. It depends on your application - if your charity has easily recognisable charitable aims then it can be approved more quickly.
We'll update you every time your application progresses to the next stage and contact you with any questions or points for clarification that may be required.
Nothing – just focus on developing the work of your ministry.
Nothing - just sit back and relax! If we ask for any additional information you can help speed things up by sending it to us as quickly as possible.
