Why does my giving link show an error message rather than my profile?

If you selected to disable your giving link in your application form or in your online account, your profile page will display an error message. 

To enable your giving link, in your account go to 'Account settings' and select the 'Profile' tab. Click 'Edit' and tick the box ‘Make profile public'. Your profile page will now be live.
