A gift is showing as uncleared in my account. What does this mean?
When a gift is uncleared, the funds from your supporter have not yet cleared into our bank account. Gifts by Direct Debit can take up to six working days to clear, dependent on the bank. Unfortunately, we are not able to control when gifts clear into our bank account.
Once cleared, the gift and any eligible Gift Aid will form part of your available balance which will be paid to you in your next scheduled payment.
You can also choose to withdraw your available balance at any time in your online account. Your payment will be made in our next payment run on the Tuesday or Thursday following your request to withdraw funds and will take two working days to clear into your bank account. This means that, depending on when you withdraw funds, it will take 3-5 working days to arrive into your bank account. Withdraws are not instant due to the nature of managing and granting charitable funds and the processes and checks required.
