What can I use funds received from Stewardship for?

As a charity, we are permitted to give you charitable funds to use to fulfil our charitable objectives. We assess whether your work fulfils our charitable objectives through your account application form. Funds can therefore only be used to fund your living costs and any personal ministry expenses we’ve approved, that enable you to carry out your work.

Using funds for any other purpose is a misuse of charitable funds. For example, raising funds for another individual's needs or to fund an employee, volunteer, or organisation.

Funds cannot be used towards a deposit or purchase of a property due to the increase in value of the asset which would benefit you personally and is a private benefit to you and not a correct use of charitable funds.

Supporters also cannot give a gift like a birthday or wedding present with Stewardship as these are personal gifts for you and not intended to enable you to do your charitable work.
