Why Local Church?
It's the main vehicle through which Jesus is made known.
Local churches help to uphold us in our faith and are called to act as an example of love in action for those who don’t yet know Jesus. We believe that God calls us to develop a habit to tithe our incomes and set giving as a priority, and the Church relies on its members’ gifts to serve the communities it’s placed in and equip believers with good teaching. Local churches are also supported by ministries that train and support church leaders, provide resources for discipleship and help churches to grow in number and maturity.
so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Romans 12:5
For we were all baptised by one Spirit so as to form one body – whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free – and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
1 Corinthians 12:13
And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another
Hebrews 10:24-25

It is the local church that constitutes the body of the counter-culture.
Don Carson The Gospel Coalition
The glory of the gospel is that when the church is absolutely different from the world, she invariably attracts it.
Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones
