Why Children?
Jesus teaches us to be more like children when it comes to understanding our dependency on Him.
The early years of a child's life are foundational, shaping their values, character, and relationship with God. During this critical time, children are eager to learn, grow, and develop their God-given potential. As the church, we are called to champion the well-being of children, ensuring they have access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities to encounter the love of Christ. By investing in children, we invest in the future of our communities and the Kingdom of God.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
Matthew 19:14
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Proverbs 22:6
Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.
Mark 9:37
