Why Church Planting?
To better serve communities across the UK, the Church must thrive and multiply.
Some studies suggest the church is shrinking. However when you look at the reality, faithful churches are expanding, breaking new ground and pioneering new approaches to church. It’s a challenging and rewarding mission, made possible by charities partnering with church leaders to lead strong congregations. There’s no one size fits all solution. Church can take many forms, from a large group in a church building to a few gathered around the dinner table, and we can help all of them to flourish.
‘Then the master told his servant, “Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.
Luke 14:23
The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree
Matthew 13:31-32
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47
