Premier has always been pioneering, as the first Christian radio station launched in the summer of 1995. Today, Premier is the largest Christian media organisation in Europe, with an incredible opportunity to build a lasting legacy in an historic church in London – not far from where Premier’s ministry first began.

At Premier, we have a vision for a future where Christianity is alive, vibrant, and relevant – a Church without walls, reaching and discipling a new generation in the Christian faith.

An urgent task

At a time where more and more churches are haemorrhaging young people, weekly attendance is dropping and culture is becoming more hostile to the Christian faith, making a difference in the spiritual landscape of our nation is critical.

A spiritually-hungry nation

While the church faces serious challenges, emerging generations seem more open to faith than ever before. It is now our duty and shared responsibility to present Jesus in a way that connects with people from all backgrounds and lifestyles.

The largest Christian media organisation in Europe

Our mission is to enable people to put their faith at the heart of daily life and to bring Christ to their communities. Launched in 1995, and pioneering new technology for greater Kingdom impact, Premier shares the good news of the Gospel, every day, with millions of Christians of all ages, races and circumstances.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity

In a dazzling display of God’s grace, Premier has been offered the opportunity to establish the first-ever Christian Broadcasting House – at a historic church in the heart of the City of London. St Michael Paternoster Royal, rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London and the Church of Lord Mayor Dick Whittington could become Premier’s new permanent home.

Impacting the future of Christianity in the UK

With a move to this iconic building, Premier will make as bold statement on the future of the Church and focus on six key strategic areas: 1) raising the next generation of Christians; 2) enabling people to place faith at the heart of daily life; 3) building confidence to share and defend the Gospel; 4) helping Christians understand national and global events from a Christian perspective; 5) influencing Government to protect freedom of thought, speech and religion; and 6) resourcing local churches to thrive in their communities.

A symbol of confidence

The transformation of St Michael Paternoster Royal will result in a beautiful fusion of an ancient place of worship with state-of-the-art international media hub. This new hub will also resource Christian media across the nations and regions of the UK. It will become a symbol of confidence in the relevancy and power of the Gospel to transform lives in today’s digital age.
