Stewardship to be the giving platform at Spring Harvest 2023

Stewardship is partnering with Essential Christian as the giving platform for their Spring Harvest festival this Easter.

The partnership builds on last year’s success when Stewardship facilitated the fundraising at Spring Harvest for the first time. In 2022, Spring Harvest attendees’ generosity included donations for the ‘Everyone in Fund’, which Essential Christian has used to contribute towards 2023 tickets for over 600 Christians who otherwise would not be able to afford to go.

Stewardship is advising Essential Christian on Spring Harvest’s fundraising strategy for this year as well as enabling attendees to give using its platform. The timing of this partnership is particularly exciting as it follows some big improvements to the platform for both account holders and guests. Giving with Stewardship is now quicker, simpler, and more engaging thanks to the work of their digital product team.

Spring Harvest 2023 is on the theme of ‘Flipped – The Upside-down Kingdom’. It will welcome around 10,000 guests to two sites at Butlin’s in Minehead and Skegness from Easter Monday to Friday 14 April. It exists to make space for everyone to encounter God, be inspired with confident faith and see transformation by the power of Jesus in lives and communities. Last year over 600 guests made a commitment to follow Jesus and over one million people watched a Spring Harvest worship session on BBC’s ‘Songs of Praise’. New this year is the opportunity for live content from the event in Minehead to be streamed into 75 prisons around the country.

"When you give with Stewardship, you're helping us to bring people the good news of Jesus throughout the year. From big top to laptop and from the skyline to online, Spring Harvest is equipping the church to worship, learn and serve together. It’s transformation and impact on a scale that is remarkable.” Phil Loose, CEO of Essential Christian, the charity that runs Spring Harvest.

“Our partnership with Essential Christian’s Spring Harvest festival is a fantastic example of how Stewardship seeks to serve our givers and charity partners by providing the advice and tools to inspire generosity and enable giving that can then create a big impact for God’s Kingdom. There is a synergy between our ambitions – as Spring Harvest makes space for God to provide inspiration and vision, we are ready to provide the means to resource that vision.” Clare Lucas, Head of Church and Charity Giving, Stewardship.
