Jen is the Exec Director of Crosslands, a theological training, research and ministry resourcing charity working across Europe and beyond. She came to that role with almost 30 years’ experience in management consulting, working with senior leaders in government, defence, infrastructure and banking on strategic leadership, change, governance and complex partnerships.
Jen is a member of the People, Culture and Place committee at Stewardship with specific interests in governance, leadership and organisational development.
Originally from South Africa, her involvement in the IFES-affiliated student Christian movement was foundational to her formation as a leader. She continues to train and coach leaders in global mission and ministry in her spare time, and is also a trustee of UCCF in the UK.
She is married to Hugo, a former Anglican vicar who is now pastor of Christ Church Newcastle, a church which began in their living room in 2006. They have two adult children who keep returning home at irregular intervals, such that life is never dull.
Jen and Hugo are passionate about church planting, cross cultural mission, student evangelism and theological education.
