Essential Christian, home of Spring Harvest, are committed to contending for future generations to ensure that the future of the Church is strong, vibrant and diverse. There have been so many stories of young people’s lives being changed from this year's event, here are just a couple:
“My 8-year-old daughter has had an awesome week. She gave her life to Jesus. We go to church as a family. So, I asked her what was different. She said, ‘Before, I knew about God, but this week I met him’. She woke up on the morning after her commitment to follow Jesus, and immediately was reading her Bible, instead of playing on her tablet.”
“My kids both attended Virtual Sunday School at Skegness and loved it. My daughter asked Jesus if she could be part of his kingdom forever. Praising God!”
For nearly forty-five years Spring Harvest has been used by God to change lives and equip the Church. Their hearts leap when they hear stories like the ones above - young people inspired to live differently because of Jesus. They are fully committed to Spring Harvest being a place where children can continue to hear about God and respond to his call.
This year 3,500 under 17’s came to Spring Harvest, that makes up a third of all guests. It’s a number that is increasing year on year. The Big 3 charity partners for this year’s event – Compassion, Care for the Family and Home for Good - all work with children and young people in the UK and beyond.

Matt Holderness
Matt joined Stewardship in 2022 with over twenty years of marketing experience from roles at Kendal College and Capernwray Bible School. He has degrees in Business and Marketing, Theology, Management and most recently a Masters in Hermeneutics.
Through raising awareness of Stewardship’s services, Matt helps people explore the impact their generosity can have on the church and Christian charities. He’s passionate about supporting Evangelism and Bible causes, and has a particular interest in charities that are helping people in Poverty and Debt in the UK.
