Happy Child International

For 32 years Happy Child International has been helping vulnerable children and young people from some of the most violent and marginalised communities in Brazil. Our vision is to ensure that every child and young person reaches his or her full potential and to foster immediate and lasting change in their lives. Brazil still faces high levels of unemployment, difficulty for families to find work and limited access to health, education and protection services to mitigate harm from rising violence. Working with local partners and through a community based preventative approach Happy Child International is enabling the delivery of education, skills training for work, care for families and protection from violence to its beneficiaries.
