Story
Pakistan is suffering a national emergency of flash flooding greater than the super flood of 2010. The situation has surpassed the government's relief. Since June 1200 people have died, 3600 are injured, 33 million are affected. 100,000s are displaced and without food. Roads, bridges, shops, houses, and livestock have been destroyed. The country is also suffering from urban flooding and landslides. FGA churches are among those affected.
Budget: FGA intends to give essential items such as the following to families affected by the floods. Estimated costs including delivery are: Hygiene kit £6, Tent £44, Food/linens £80.
* Including clean drinking water, flour (15 kg), sugar (5 kg), rice (10 kg), cooking oil (5 liters), lentils (4 types, 1 kg each), dry milk (for children, 1 kg), tea (500 g), salt (1 kg), spices (1 kg), pickle oil (500 g), toothpaste & toothbrush, detergent (1 kg), soap (3 pieces), towels (2), bedsheets (2), blankets (2)
