Story

In England, 2 million over 75's live alone and 75% of them feel lonely - 6% reporting chronic loneliness. One third of older people feel more lonely in the wake of Covid-19 and 500,000 do not see or speak to anyone for 5 to 6 days each week.

Linking Lives UK is a national Christian charity focused on addressing these issues in partnership with local churches and Christian organisations. 

This campaign aims to raise £5,000 towards our much needed work. This includes developing befriending schemes in local communities, running volunteer training for those engaged in regular drop-in centres and delivering monthly webinars which equip individuals to make a difference on a local level.
