Mkhombo Village Community Garden Greenhouse

Story
Welcome to Compassion for Communities Stewardship fundraising page. Donating with Stewardship is really easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give.
We are fundraising for building a Greenhouse at a community garden in Mkhombo village, Lower Gweru, Zimbabwe.
The community garden is cultivated by 50 villagers, each representing a household. Our charity, in conjunction with a US-based charity, supported the garden to set up a drip irrigation system watered by a solar powered borehole.
Building the greenhouse will make the garden more productive and profitable leading to economic empowerment and sustainable food security. Crops will be grown in a controlled environment, protected from pests, diseases and adverse weather conditions due to climate change.
