We are not a charity appealing for money, but we are a niche non-profit news agency focussed on reporting about Christians under pressure for their faith: www.worldwatchmonitor.org/aboutus.

Delighted, but also sad to say, for instance, that our report a year ago: How does Boko Haram justify kidnap of 230 Nigerian girls?"
https://www.worldwatchmonitor.org/2014/04/article_3113594.html/
has just been cited in evidence to the Chief Prosecutor at the ICC in the Hague, that Boko Haram's actions may amount to genocide against Christian women and girls.
We also write to explain the context of many of the current headlines from the Middle East, Pakistan etc. So do check us out too!

Maybe remove Barnabas Fund from that list given Mr Sookhdeo's actions. Add FRRME in its place.

Thanks for the comment Peter. We've added FRRME to the list. Did you catch the last issue of Share magazine with our interview with Canon Andrew White?

We appreciate your thoughts RE Barnabas Fund but do not believe that the actions of one person should undermine the valuable work that the current team there are doing. I hope you understand.

I am a supporter of "Friends of South Sudan", who are involved with refugee work, support for schools and orphanages, along with training of pastors and church leaders in South Sudan.
In the north in Sudan the work is with the tens of thousands of refugees from previous wars, who have recently lost their citizen status and are stateless, hence no work permits and are destitute and persecuted.

Re Peter's comments about Barnabas Fund (17 April) - where a true work of God is being done Satan will also be at work. Persecution and injustice are sadly not confined to fundamentalist Islamic contexts.

If we withdraw funds from Barnabus Funds because Patrick fell into sin, we will only hurt our persecuted brothers and sisters. Barnabus Fund is not about Patrick, it's about serving God and helping the body of Christ in need. Whether or not Patrick sinned against the Lord is something we don't really know, he denies it but the court said he was guilty. Whether he's guilty or not makes no difference to the fact that withdrawing our money will only deny help for our brothers and sister.

re Barnabas Fund - Patrick Sookhdeo
Let those without sin cast the first stone.
No human is without sin so if we all judged by Peter's way then no charities would exist.
Charities work for the needy not for executives nor members of the Charities.
God bless and protect you all.

Dear Brother in Christ,

Warm Christian greetings from Zanzibar Tanzania.

Am Pastor Timothy Philemon, hereby need to know how Christian women can benefit on your programme about micro Finance, because many of Christian members from different church here in Zanzibar Tanzania are poor. They lack funding to support their basic needs to have decent food, housing, clothing and education. Many lacks skills.

They need help and support in funding their livelihood - such as farming, small-scale businesses (buy and sell, weaving, sewing, etc.). Many Christian women just stayed home, or help in the families without earning extra income. We can empower them by providing access to the fund and earn some income. Additional fund means additional produce and income. Additional income means better food, being able to buy basic needs, and enabling them to send their children or themselves to school for better education and skills. Thus, it helps lead to the well-being of a woman and a family, including the church and society.

Hope to hear back from you concerning my request

Kind regards

Pastor Timothy Philemon

For Years and Years we Lived under the Fear of Islamic Radicals in Pakistan and now in Thailand where we thought We shall be Protected and heard, we are forced to live under The Constant Fear of being Arrested by the Police and Immigration and later on treated like criminals. In case of Being Arrested, there is a Clear risk of being deported back to The nation where our Fundamental human rights will be Violated and we shall be Subject to torture and death.
