I am committed to offering faith-based mentoring support to prison leavers returning to Hampshire and beyond. The support is with a view to helping the transition back into the community that includes regular contact, practical and emotional help.

I am an ex-prisoner who rediscovered my faith whilst in prison. I have had a mentor, led an Alpha group in prison, spoken about God's love, forgiveness and grace for prisoners/prison leavers in both prison and Church groups. I currently mentor several prison leavers.

I believe passionately that Church and Christians are perfectly placed to support prison leavers as they reconnect with society. New Foundations Community Chaplaincy exists to equip, train and support Christian mentors as they engage with men and women leaving prison. We liase with Prison Chaplaincies, local Probation teams and Approved Premises to connect clients with Christian mentors upon release.
