The Message Trust is on a mission to share the love of Jesus in word and action with the hardest-to-reach young people and places. From mission teams, who head into schools to share the Christian message of hope through music and lessons with over 100,000 young people each year, and Eden teams who do life long-term in the toughest places, to providing people with food and access to support with our Community Groceries, we want to people to know how loved they are by Jesus and see lives transformed by him for eternity.
This Christmas, we’re raising funds to keep Community Grocery shelves stocked, as no one should go hungry.
Instead of wondering if there’ll be gifts under the tree, imagine not knowing if you can feed your family. For 16 million people, including 5.2 million kids and 1.5 million pensioners, this is often their reality.
Every day across 26 Community Grocery stores, we hear of parents struggling to feed their children, elderly members having to choose between heating or eating and people missing meals due to rising food costs. Going to bed with empty stomachs isn’t something anyone should have to do.
As we keep over 65,000 families fed through the groceries, members get to hear about Jesus' love for them and lives like Sarah’s are being changed.
This Christmas, we have the power to make a change, because our gift isn’t just food on the table, it’s to take people from hunger to hope as they hear about Jesus in store.
But there is so much more to do and demand for Community Groceries continues to grow rapidly. This Christmas could you stand with us and help us keep the stores of our stores stocked for those who may otherwise go hungry?
