UK Poverty &Debt
Initially set up by Tees Valley Community Church to share their nine-acre site for wider community benefit, Three13 training uses vocational education to address the high local rate of unemployment. Breaking the cycle of crime, poverty and hopelessness, our vision is to see social and economic transformation in our region.
Since 2018, we've worked with over 600 people, running practical, accredited work-based training in Churches and community settings across Teesside, Sunderland, Durham and Northallerton. Our learners are of all ages and backgrounds, many have convictions, care-experience or come from families who've been unemployed for generations. We help them become confidently aware of their worth and abilities, find meaningful employment and become more economically stable.
