No-one in our community should have to face going hungry. That's why we provide 3 days nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to those who are referred to us in crisis. Our foodbank has run in partnership with local churches and other organisations across the borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire since 2012. The foodbank is part of a nationwide network supported by The Trussell Trust, working to end hunger in the UK.
Having no food is usually only the symptom, not the cause. In our Foodbank centres volunteers offer a listening ear over a cup of tea, and we partner with Citizen's Advice and North Staffs Mind to provide further support. For more information about the work we do, please see our website.
