The Warm Welcome Campaign exists to turn poverty and isolation into warmth and local connection through the power of Spaces made by and for the community.

The Campaign supports a network of over 4000 of churches and community organisations across the UK to open their doors to their community through the winter, and particularly those who might be struggling to heat their homes or are feeling lonely and isolated. The campaign provides guidance, resources and support to local organisations running Warm Welcome Spaces, as well as communicating the offer and impact of this growing movement.

The campaign is powered by a coalition of charities, convened by the Good Faith Foundation.

Founded in 2022, the Warm Welcome Campaign wants everyone in the UK to find a place of belonging and reconnection at a Warm Welcome Space near their home. We have a bold ambition to enable a more deeply connected society where we all have free access to welcoming community spaces. In the winter of 2023/24, through the collective power of local spaces, there were two million visits, supported by over 10,000 volunteers each week. On average, Warm Welcome Spaces hosted over 120,000 visitors every week.

We’re working hard to reach everyone with the message that a Warm Welcome is waiting for them just around the corner, all through the year. Find your local Warm Welcome Space by visiting: https://www.warmwelcome.uk/find-a-space#map

The Warm Welcome Campaign wants everyone in the UK to find a place of belonging and reconnection at a Warm Welcome Space near their home.  Not everyone can find a Warm Welcome Space close to home. Our research shows that although 62% of the population live within a 30-minute walk of a local space, local awareness of these spaces is low. Only 18% of people across the UK say they are aware of a space near their home. We want to change this so 100% of the population can find a Warm Welcome Space close to home.
