Prison Fellowship International (PFI) is the world’s most extensive network of Christian ministries working in the criminal justice field. Believing that all people have value, deserve mercy and are loved by God, its mission is to transform the lives of prisoners and their families through a global network of ministry partners. 

PFI has access to over 60% of the world’s prison population, which provides people a unique path to respond to God’s call to “remember those in prison” by connecting them through powerful programs and prayer.  

Founded in 1979 by Chuck Colson, PFI works in over 118 countries on six continents through cross-confessional, indigenous, autonomous ministry partners. This grassroots presence ministers to prisoners and their families in culturally relevant ways, partnering with local churches and over 50,000 volunteers to restore prisoners’ lives and successfully integrate them back into the community – for good.
