West End Impact started in 2002 with a vision to take Faith & Life seriously in equal measures. We are placed in one of the top 1% most deprived wards in the UK. Our strategy was not to have one, but instead listen and learn with and from our community - and then organically establish projects where God can make a difference. 21 years on we run 2 advice & guidance sessions on benefits, housing, mental health etc, we have a parish nurse for the homeless, foodbank, Well-being Wednesdays with CBT groups, person centred counsellors, art/music/dance therapy, a garden project, 2 shops The Restore & The Restoration, one an art gallery, the other a furniture refurbishing shop. We host recovery groups NA, AA, CA and Red Rose Recovery.
We learned that the bottom line is 1 Cor 13.13: Faith Hope Love.
