Dave and Steph Sharples grew up in Sussex, and both went to Liverpool as students. They got married in 1993 and joined Frontline Church in Wavertree. Dave was asked to run a kids holiday club, which became Kidz Klub, a national ministry he ran for 17 years, supported by Steph who worked part time in a local school. Dave also ran a citywide youth event Space Liverpool, and a mentoring project Mighty Men. In 2005 Dave launched another ministry called the4points, which he runs to this day, equipping churches and ministries for mission. Dave was awarded an MBE for services to young people in Toxteth in 2012, and in 2020 Dave and Steph were asked to plant a church in the local community. Frontline Church in Toxteth currently meets house to house, with a weekly prayer meeting, bible study and a monthly celebration. Dave in particular would love to give more time to local ministry, and so is trying to raise additional personal support. Dave and Steph have three children, Abi, Jake and Josh.
