Christian Development Uganda

Christian Development Uganda raises funds which are used to support the rural poor in southern Uganda. We are committed to sharing the Christian faith and enabling local partners, Word & Deed Uganda, in evangelism and development work amongst needy highland communities.

Our main focus is the Batwa communities who were expelled from their rain forest homes with with no provision having been made for their survival.

We facilitate education by directly supporting schools and through sponsorship we arrange primary and secondary education for vulnerable children.

We promote health initiatives (such as ante-natal training, HIV testing, immunisation and de-worming) and we seek to improve living conditions including housing and sanitation.
