Friends of Turkey

Friends of Turkey wants to see the growth of God's Kingdom in Turkey, the place where historically the disciples were first called Christians.

Modern-day Turkey has a population of 85+ million people, but only an estimated 10,000 Protestant Christians. Many of the 81 provinces still have no public church or witness. As a secular state, there is freedom of religion, and yet, the advance of the gospel is challenging. To help meet this challenge, we support, through prayer and finance, Turkish Christians and gospel ministers, who are seeking to bring the good news of Jesus to Turkish people, and so, we hope to play our part in "seeing the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)
