During Lent 2022, we are encouraging friends of the chaplaincy to run, walk, cycle, row... whatever! to help raise funds for our brilliant partner charity, Waakisa.
Waakisa Ministries is a non-denominational Christian charity that aims to provide care and support to young vulnerable girls who are pregnant and alone and deliver health education programmes to local schools and churches based in Uganda. Teams from the Church of Ireland and Methodist Chaplaincy have travelled and raised funds on several occasions to support this amazing work.
