Warm Welcome - Transformation Cornwall

Story

The cost-of-living crisis is expected to put 16.4 million people in fuel poverty this winter, with many forced to choose between food and warmth.

Transformation Cornwall is supporting venues across Cornwall to become Warm Welcome spaces this winter, opening their doors to provide a free, warm, welcoming and safe place for people to go to who are struggling to stay warm this winter.

We are playing our part by creating a list of all of the venues opening across the county and helping to promote these across our networks. We are also supporting venues with advice around setting up, including helping them to apply for funding.

Funds raised through this page will enable us to be agile in giving support to venues struggling to open due to various barriers. We will share stories of how the money raised here has been used in the months ahead.
