Up the Creek for Watsan 2022
From Faversham to Whitstable in aid of the Kazuru project
Closing date: 23 February 2023
Story
Following last year's successful dispersed Walks for Water - we're doing our own thing this year to raise vital funds for Watsan again, as they embark on a new project.
This year we are literally ‘going up the creek’ on June 11th, starting at Faversham station at 10am and wending our way past the ancient buildings of old Faversham, along Faversham creek, out to the shoreline of the Swale and along the Saxon Way footpath to Whitstable via Seasalter. The walk is flat and most of it on the springing turf as we walk by the sea wall and head to Whitstable.
Please donate if you can, this year we will be contributing to a new and different project in Kazuru amongst the Pygmy people who live in the borders of Uganda and Congo in an area known as ‘the windy and impenetrable!’ Your donation really will go a long way and make a huge difference. Thank you!
