Running the Brighton Marathon for Orchards

Story

Orchards (www.orchardsuk.org) is a Christian charity (CIO: 1179459) based in London and working across the UK to support women out of sexual exploitation, and into flourishing, independent lives.

They build trusting relationships with women, and offer holistic and tailored support for lasting recovery through four main areas: 1) transitional safe housing; 2) trauma counselling; 3) training and work opportunities for job and life skills; 4) pastoral care, grounded in specially trained churches.

Orchards is a cause very close to my heart as it was set up by my sister and her friend from nothing more than shared vision and passion to make a difference. It has grown amazingly over the past few years and does genuinely life-changing work. I am immensely proud to be helping their fundraising efforts through running this marathon.
