If you would like to, instead of a wedding gift, please do feel free to donate to the work of Southampton City Mission’s (SCM) Marketplaces. We live near the Millbrook marketplace in Southampton and the work of Millbrook marketplace is supported by St Peter’s Church, where we will be getting married.

SCM’s Marketplaces provide longer term support towards self sufficiency for people facing hardship through local food membership clubs.  They aim to offer choice and dignity through personal selection of food products to supplement people’s weekly shopping. They are also intended to be small, welcoming communities offering all of the health and wellbeing benefits of being in regular contact with a supportive network of peers and friends.  Please see https://southamptoncitymission.co.uk/marketplace
