Micah Global - Training local church leaders in Nepal

Story

I would like to tell you about upcoming training of local church leaders in Nepal.  

Micah Nepal (pictured above is Yadav Budhathoki, Programme Manager of Micah Nepal) has invited members of the Micah Global Humanitarian Response Group to conduct a ‘Training of Trainers’ course in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) in Kathmandu for 25 local church pastors who are members of the National DRR Network. This training builds on the successful collaboration with local churches following the earthquake in western Nepal in 2023.  

We require contributions to cover the travel costs of the two Micah Global members who will conduct the training. Micah Nepal is covering all other training costs. 

Should we not raise sufficient funds or should this fundraiser exceed its target, funds will be used towards DRR training planned for November 2024 in Nepal.
