A New Building in Dhaka

Staff and pupils at ‘Hope of Children School’ have something to celebrate this year, having secured a new building for their school in Dhaka.

A Messengers team visited the school, which is located in a Dhaka slum, in February 2020 and
were amazed at what the teachers were managing to deliver in such cramped conditions. 

With a new building, the staff hope to expand the classes on offer, including teaching children beyond primary age. The additional space will enable other family outreach activities to take place and the different location should minimise flooding risks.

Equipping The New Building
An estimated £18,000 is needed for furniture, fixtures and equipment for the new school.
