The South Downs Way 100 mile race, on 8th June, is run by Centurion Running from Matterley Bowl, near Winchester to Eastbourne Athletics Track with a 30 hour cut off.

I am running for the charity Sports Chaplaincy UK who seek to provide “ongoing pastoral and spiritual care, by permission, to those of faith or no faith, for the holistic well-being of all involved in the community of sport.”

I have been supported by SCUK, my local running club and church, and we want to see more chaplains provided with training, networking opportunities and ongoing support for their sports communities. That they will take the presence of Jesus as they are pastorally pro-active and spiritually re-active to athletes and their families.
