Heulwen’s 1st Half-Marathon for Resource Uganda

Story

As many of you know I have been volunteering with a small charity called Resource Uganda since 2009.

They are a grassroots charity established by the vision of Richard Tuhumwire to see communities changed through the power of local church. Resource Uganda equips local leaders to run the commmunity programmes needed in their area (sanitation, literacy, income generation, childrens clubs, medical camps). I have been amazed at the changes we've seen in the quality of life of the communities Richard and his team work with.

This is why I want to do all I can to support them. Even running a half marathon which is not something my short little legs were necessarily born to do, but I love a challenge for a worthy cause so here goes...
