Christmas Dinner for Children, orphans and homeless
Project #54860
Closing date: 17 August 2024
Story
This project run by Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of Christ, will provide Christmas dinner party to over 60 homeless in Stoke-on Trent Staffordshire UK and 40 orphans in Nigeria on Christmas day.
Everywhere you go in Stoke-on-Trent people complained, and see the homeless people as a nuisance, waste of space and time. In every nook and cranny, there is a homeless person in the street begging for money or food.
The kitchen was envisaged to be open to anyone who wishes to come in and have something to eat. There will be no charge for the food and drink provided.
The project will feed more than 60 homeless and provide them with some essential skills of life. Help them in earning a living and get them off the street and also to help them rise out of poverty, which will provide for their well being.
If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give.
