Over 3 weeks in May 2022 Bishop John and his wife H-J are cycling almost 500 miles on the Camino Frances and they hope to raise £3,000 for Worcester Cathedral to help ensure its future. Your support of their pilgrimage is much appreciated.

Bishop John and his wife H-J are cycling almost 500 miles over 3 weeks on the Camino Frances, from St Jean Pied de Port in the Pyrenees, France, to Santiago De Compostela, Spain, to raise £3,000 for Worcester Cathedral.
The Cathedral of Santiago De Compostela is known as the culmination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route and millions of pilgrims have made their way there including the C15th ‘Worcester pilgrim’ whose remains were discovered in 1987 at the base of the Cathedral tower.
Bishop John said, "Cathedrals are the jewel in the crown of our historical cultural, and spiritual inheritance. There is none finer than Worcester, which has become my spiritual home. We are making the pilgrimage to another cathedral with which ours is linked in history, to pray for and celebrate this one and raise money to ensure its future."
All funds raised will be spent to support the Cathedral’s running and renovation costs. Thank you for your support.
