Sittingbourne to Faversham for WATSAN
Closing date: 10 May 2024
Story
We're off on our travels again on June 17 2023 - exploring a few more creeks between Sittingbourne and Faversham- a glorious stretch of the Saxon Shore Line Walk. It's completely flat and with lovely springey grass as we walk along the coast. Do join us, we will meet at Sittingbourne station at 10am and we should reach Faversham mid afternoon after a 12 mile stroll. It's all in aid of WATSAN UGANDA as we (and other similar walks thoughout the country) raise the funds to bring clean water to the community and school of Kazuru, a remote settlement in the 'dark and inpenetrable' forest which lies on the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Past projects have proved that this will vastly improve the attendance and educational achievments of the children and the health of the whole community. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks for visiting!
