Aspire Linlithgow: Project 600
St Michael’s Church, Linlithgow
Closing date: 31 December 2026
Story
Help secure the future of St Michael’s Church, Linlithgow for the 21st century.
Why 600? Work started on the present building after a fire in 1424 ravaged the previous structure. In 2024, it’s not fire but water that threatens the building. Major guttering and drainage solutions to stop further rainwater penetration are required, followed by repairing water damage to the stonework. We aim to raise £100k from generous donors, which will help us leverage grant funding for the balance of the £600k+ required.
Should we not raise sufficient funds to secure additional grants, funds will be used towards the general funds of the church. Should this fundraiser exceed its target, excess funds will be used towards the general funds of the church.
