In order to continue the vital work of the Hope strand we are launching an urgent appeal to raise £10,000. Young Minds released figures in 2022 that tell us, “One in six children aged five to 16 were identified as having a probable mental health problem in July 2021, a huge increase from one in nine in 2017. That’s five children in every classroom.” 

This is why we offer our Hope strand in local schools, offering support from skilled Christian staff through mentoring, drawing and talking therapy, lunchtime clubs, small groups and transition workshops. Schools are contributing what they can, and we are active in seeking grants. However, to maintain the vital support we are providing, we also need to ask for your help.
