Smile Academy Skills Training 2023

Story

Smile Academy is part of the Smile Charity Village where small children are given a home and an education, and older girls are trained in skills such as tailoring and hairdressing. The money we raise will help to train the first 25 of this years class of 50 trainees who would otherwise have no hope or future. It will also provide them with the equipment they need to set themselves up in small businesses on completion of their training. This is the 2nd year group that PDH has helped to fund and we have seen that this training is life changing for them.

Should we not raise sufficient funds to train all 25 girls, funds will be used towards as many as  can be trained. Should this fundraiser exceed its target, excess funds will be used towards additional trainees.
