Many of the South Sudanese people who fled to refugee camps in Uganda to escape the civil war in 2017 are now returning to their homes. Rations in the refugee camps have been reduced to an unstainable level and by returning home they will be supported by the Diocese of Kajo Keji. This project will provide 0.75 tons of groundnut seeds, 0.75 tons of beans seeds as well as sukuma (greens), tomatoes and onion seeds. It will also provide hoes, rakes, watering cans and pangas (machetes) with which to cultivate the seeds. The seeds & tools will be delivered to a number of communities where help, advice & support will be given to ensure healthy crops. It is so important to improve nutritional needs among returnees, and we are very grateful for your contribution.

Donating with Stewardship is really easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks you!
