Cycle from Canterbury to Rome (in 2 weeks....)

Story

On September 1st I will be leaving Canterbury on my bike - destination: ROME! A self supported and self funded cycle ride covering 1200 miles.

I am going an a two week adventure to reflect on my 6 year journey with Hope into Action: Mid Sussex.  From the crazy sums of investment, opening 5 houses, supporting 37 tenants, to addictions being broken, employment being found & independence realised. 

Cycling over the Alps, and descending into the valleys, will remind me of the rollercoaster of those years. Facing and conquering various challenges, building a team, perservering through battles but having the absolute joy of seeing our tenants make extraordinary progress.

All I need is a following wind - and no punctures.  How hard can it be?
