Story

Period poverty affects 500 million women & girls worldwide! 

Women often have to decide between buying sanitary products or feeding their children.  Girls regularly miss up to 3 days of school a month, falling behind and potentially threatening their chances of escaping poverty.

We have a simple, sustainable solution, the Pure Amor Dignity (PAD) pack, which contains washable, re-useable pads that will last each woman/girl a year.

November 23 we took 50 packs to The Gambia - enough to supply all the women/girls in one village, alongside sharing the pattern, skills, & education in personal and pack hygiene. 

Our next step is to set up 2 marginilised women in a micro-business, inc. sewing machines, materials & training so they can produce 100s of PAD packs for other villages.
