Tek Ura’s Portraits of Hope: Everyday VIP's
Closing date: 20 September 2021
Story
This is a fundraising page to cover the costs of Tek Ura’s ‘Portraits of Hope: Everyday VIP’s’ exhibition.
This is a 2 week, free exhibition, when Tek Ura in collaboration with Jaron Johns (American Photographer) invites people to see with their heart our exhibit that challenges our perception of identity, dignity and our perception of Albania.
Some people in our community can feel stripped of their dignity, but our message is to convey to them that they still have it, that they’re still a dignified, loving person.
This exhibit is rooted in the belief that all people, no matter their race, gender or culture, are part of the beautiful dignity God gave us. It’s a celebration of the beauty of community in “Kafja e Rremes’, one that embraces differences and welcomes each other.
