Nepal Volunteering - Isabella's Fundraiser

Story

Welcome to my fundraising page! As some of you may know, I’m travelling to Nepal to volunteer in an orphanage for 3 months, teaching the children English, Music and Art. The orphanage is run by a non-profit organization called The Himalayan Foundation Nepal who have partnered with Christians Abroad. I will be living in the orphanage run by Pastor David and his wife Maria, helping with day-to-day life and teaching.  I have a passion for music having grown up playing instruments and singing so I am especially excited to be bringing enrichment to these children’s lives through music. Music is known to improve well being and mental health and is also so much fun!  They have not had the same opportunities as I have with music so I would love to be able to share my skills to inspire and encourage some of them to pursue music further. The funds raised on this page will go towards buying resources and instruments for the children.
