Oxford Friends raising funds for the Malcolm and Diana Townsend Library

Story

Malcolm and Revd Diana Townsend were amongst the first to support the establishment of the School in the early 2000s and have supported the school’s development ever since

Malcolm and Diana have visited the school on numerous occasions.  Diana is a mathematician and has provided in-service training for the school’s maths teacher.  Malcolm was the first Chairperson of the Oxford Friends and continues to lead on the administration of the Wyn Cornish Awards

The Oxford Friends have spent the last year supporting the construction of the Claire Harris Building, a new hall within the grounds of the school which includes a large room for a library.  The library will be named Malcolm and Diana Townsend Library in recognition of their devoted service

In September 2023 a group from Oxford will be visiting Hope & Faith School for the opening of the Claire Harris Building.  We will be taking as many books as we can, using excess baggage allowances
