Story
My friends, family, and co-workers told me that "volunteering my opinion" does not count as charitable work so I've decided to do something far more valuable.
Westbourne Park Family Centre have entrusted me with the great responsibility of both raising awareness of the work they do in the local community, but also raising as much money as I possibly can so that they can continue to have a significant impact in Westbourne.
Let me hit you with some stats:
Top 2% - Westbourne park is one of the most deprived areas of the country
400+ - the number of familes benefiting from the charity each week
84% - The number of children in the local area living in income deprived households
After 26.2 Miles I won't have just raised money for charity, I'll be crying (Volun)tears!
