Pure Gambia 2024 Justice Expedition

Story

Today, 711 million people do not have access to safe drinking water.  This results in sickness & death for many, for example every 2 minutes a 5-year-old child dies of diarrhea.  This is too many and we want to address this injustice one family at a time, until everyone has access to safe drinking water, good hygiene & sanitation. 

We have a proven WaSH intervention; before its distribution 95% of people are sick, 6 months later 95% were healthy.  The intervention consists of an innovative water filter, training in its sustainable use, hygiene and sanitation awareness.  

A team is traveling to rural Gambia this November.  Each person is fundraising for their 10 interventions, that they will walk into the villages, each one costs £30. Will you stand with us and help us prevent people needlessly dying of waterborne diseases?
